Video 3 – Resonant Breathing with Body Awareness

The body awareness exercise for week 3 involves changing the pace of your breathing and looking out for effects within your body. The breathing cycle of your lungs, your blood pressure and your heart rate are intimately linked – to the point that if you alter your rate of breathing in the right way, you can influence your heart rate and blood pressure. This can help shift your whole body into a more energy efficient, restful state. During this exercise, you are invited to look out for changes in your body as you change how you breathe.
